About horses
Horses are about freedom, power, strength and beauty. They help to balance ego and provide earthbound consciousness. Shamans are known to use horses to fly through the air to reach other realms (a bit like Pegasus).
The energetic connection between humans and horses is fascinating. The invisible bond we have transcends physical presence. Horses respond to energy, both ours and their own.
They can pick up a person’s energy from a significant distance. This is why we choose to work with the horses in the afternoon. We respectfully give them the morning to watch and observe our energies, which is what they love to do before they work with us.
When we work with horses it comes from a deep level of knowing, working at this level creates the transformation. The flow of energy between you and the horse makes a unique connection and bond providing you with insights and awareness for personal growth.
Cacao Ceremony
Our Cacao Ceremony is a beautiful opportunity to connect with yourself on a deeper level and with those sharing the ceremony journey along side you. An opportunity to set new intentions and call in your heart's desire.
The cacao offers great insights, creativity and inspiration. It is also well known for its heart opening properties, mood-boosting effects and is packed full of vitamins & minerals. (Please scroll down to bottom for contraindications.
Taking Cacao is always optional depending on whether it feels right for you.) Please see the contraindications below.

Cocao Contraindications
If you choose not to have the cacao we can offer an alternative but please make us aware before the day.

Contraindications of cacao (please note one cup of cacao we serve is considered a small dose)
- if you are on antidepressants, SSRIs or other medication, have a heart condition or are pregnant: Be aware that the theobromine in cacao is a vasodilator: it increases the heart rate and lowers blood pressure, so you may be better off with a smaller dose
- If you are on MAOI antidepressants, cacao (& all forms of chocolate) is contraindicated because it contains tyramine.
- if you are taking 5-htp (5-Hydroxytryptophan) it's advisable to have a smaller dose of cacao.
- If you are taking St John's Wort, please refrain from taking it for a few days before.
- If you are epileptic a high consumption of cacao could possibly increase the risk of seizures.
- If you take antipsychotic medication, consuming ceremonial cacao in this way is also contraindicated.
- if you have low blood pressure, be aware that although cacao is a stimulant, it lowers blood pressure. Depending on your condition, a smaller dose might be appropriate.
- some people are allergic or sensitive to theobromine - it can trigger headaches or migraines in some people. In some cases, a smaller dose will be fine depending on how sensitive you are.

T&C's
- Payment is to be made in full, two weeks before the workshop. Invoices will be sent out for BACS transfer payment.
- Any money paid is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
- Lunch and refreshments (herbal and regular tea / coffee) will be provided. Please provide your intolerances and allergies in the comments box when you book in.
- Please dress comfortably and something you don't mind getting dirty when you are with the horses.
- Our cancellation policy: No-show or cancellation, due to any reason including coronavirus, within 48 hours of the workshop will carry a full price cancellation fee. Cancellations prior to this period may be refunded on a percentage ratio basis depending on the notice period provided, due to business to business contract on hiring of venues.
