High toxicity in the body... this subject is very close to my heart. As a child, I was administered with a lot of antibiotics. Well, what do you do when your precious young daughter is struggling to breathe or has yet another debilitating ear infection that renders her bedbound?
Of course, it's another trip to the doctor who is already overwhelmed and struggling to help the ever-growing number of patients walking through the door each day. Wrestling with trying to individualise every person by offering some form of sympathy, when actually he/she is just severely worn down by the reality that this now has become a 'Game of Numbers', a mere production line of self-diagnosed bodies demanding answers.
You may have watched the series 'This Is going to Hurt' which highlights the struggles of doctors in our NHS hospitals. Personally, what really hit home was when one of the trainee doctors, Shruti played by Ambika Mod, was thrown into the deep end and slowly started to become more and more emotionally detached, just so she could cope with the high demands of her job.
I was not open to complementary health when I was younger and as I grew older I continued to carry with me the belief that the only person who can help any illness is a doctor. I'm sure this resonates with many of you!
Well, my life took me along different paths, my personal experience of visiting a doctor made me grow more and more despondent with the help I was actually getting.
Instead of fixing the symptom, where does one go to resolve the problem at source so it will never come up again?
Once I had to take three different courses of antibiotics, one after another for a bladder infection. After the third set didn't work, I looked elsewhere. I felt like a zombie, the walking dead - I actually felt my spirit was leaving me! I lived in Battersea at the time and as luck has it, on the high street a few hundred yards away from my home was an Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine doctor. After a few days of herbal pills and acupuncture sessions, my symptoms alleviated dramatically and I was finally on the mend!
This is one of the reasons I became a Shaman & Reiki Healer, I work to find the source of the symptom/problem. A symptom is showing us just one small piece of the whole jigsaw. I also enhance my wellbeing by visiting other complementary health professionals, such as a kinesiologist or homeopath. I like to keep myself in optimum health so I can follow my soul journey and do the healing work I was destined to do.
I truly believe that high toxins in your body do not just affect you physically, after all we are made up of the mind, body, spirit and soul. If you have high levels of toxins in your body, this will affect you mentally, emotionally and as I mentioned earlier, spiritually. You may struggle with low moods, anger, resentment, sadness... You may feel your connection to divine feels blocked, in other words, you aren't able to rely on your intuition.
It's time to help yourself! There are a number of ways to remove toxins from your body, homeopathy is a great way!
Vinciane Ollington, a Registered Homeopath, based in Ripley, Surrey has written an article in the March/April 2022 publication of Alchemical Voice magazine.
See the detoxing programme as a 'Re-balancing therapy', also known as 'Harmonising Homeopathy'. Doesn't this make it feel more in alignment with your whole self rather than a 'Detox programme' that conjures up images of fasting and smoothies!
This programme helps to remove any lasting side effects or subtle imprints that are left within your system from conventional medication, synthetic hormones, plastics, vaccines, heavy metals etc.
It is one of the simplest forms of energy balancing programmes I've done myself and I haven't had to change my diet!
